I am flying to the US today. I don't know exactly when, but I will be back in Korea before long. In any case, here's one more picture for the time being.

By the way, I think it was fitting that I ran out of toilet paper this morning.

First Snow

We had our first real snowfall here in Korea yesterday. The temperature changes conspired to layer freezing rain and snow late in the afternoon and into the night. The result was a very slippery morning. But, by this afternoon the sun was out and some of the snow and ice had begun to melt. I took this picture of the snow melting on a bridge during my afternoon break today.

So many streets in Korea look like this - signs on every building going several stories up. It can take a sharp eye to find what you are looking for.
