While in Japan, my parents, my brother, and I climbed Mt. Fuji. We started around 10PM. We saw the sunrise (on July 28th) near the summit, and made it to the top around 6AM. All in all, it was a difficult, interesting, and altogether wild experience. I took this picture on the hike down.

Love this. It feels like the hikers (and you!) are sitting on the edge of the world, which is exactly what it really feels like climbing Fuji.
Looking at all of the pictures of Mount Fuji, you can really tell what makes it so unique -- it sits by itself.
