I woke up the other morning, stuck my camera out the window, and took this shot. Now that my cough is starting to clear up, I am hoping to take a lot of new pictures in the near future.
Now that I think, D/B could stand for a few things, like 'Design & Building', 'Drum & Base', or 'Dun & Bradstreet'...guess your Driving range / Batting cage should have a different name.
...That Andrew and I used to play skee ball at a place called Dream Machine in Maine religiously? We were obsessed with collecting tickets distributed based on score.
Sean, These prizes are not in the blue lunchbox but in the wooden pinewood derby box that you made in boy scouts along with your pogs.snap bracelets, and He Man figurines and accessories....

I'm glad you're feeling better. :)t
also, it's an awesome picture!
where exactly did you take this picture? I don't think I recognize this place.
What did you crop out at the bottom?
Is that a driving range?
All good driving ranges separate of golf courses should have batting cages.
All good batting cages should have a "FASSST" option that is dangerously fast the first pitch inevitably is thrown right at your head.
If this is not a driving range, maybe you should ask if you could shoot around.
I just noticed a bullseye on the netting that reads "100". 100m could only mean a driving range.
Although, what's the danger in having a half-driving range/half-bating cage if there is a cage protecting you from slices and foul balls?
There were 3 comments 6 hours ago,
and I woke up to push F5 button, and
there are 10 comments. What a magic!
By the way, Sean, good question! what did you crop out at the bottom,Andrew?
Oh, hi Sean!
Also, Sean!
You made a point!
I mean, how come no one thought of it before? A driving range attached to the batting cage!
Maybe you should come to Korea and open your own driving range / batting cage!
Andrew would probably say, 'count me in!'
Who knows? My father is a great fan of golf and he might become an investor!
What do you think it should be called? Mcdonough D/B club? or D/B?
Now that I think, D/B could stand for a few things, like 'Design & Building', 'Drum & Base', or 'Dun & Bradstreet'...guess your Driving range / Batting cage should have a different name.
Haha, what am I doing?
I'm making a fuss about something that doesn't even exist yet! haha
By the way, I left so many comments that I almost feel embarrassed.
Bravo Alice
You are truly a worthy competitor
Although, I can be kind of competitive...
By the way, Andrew are you feeling any better?
But, let's get down to business.
Alice, I think it would be nice to have a batting cage driving range.
But why stop there?
But why stop there?
If I was going to open something like that I would try to incorporate all of my favorite pay-per-play activities....
Like a few booths where you could throw a javelin
Or a discus (for Andrew)
There could also be skee ball (ask Andrew about this one)
Did you know...
...That Andrew and I used to play skee ball at a place called Dream Machine in Maine religiously? We were obsessed with collecting tickets distributed based on score.
You could redeem your tickets for prices.
I got kind of bored with the rubber snakes, candy cigarettes, spider rings, temporary tattoos, and finger traps.
(I don't think Andrew ever did).
...But I convinced him to start combining our tickets and try to save up for something awesome like an electric ball or Power Glove.
We literally saved for years.
We wrapped bundles of 100 tickets in rubber bands.
And stored the tickets in a blue McDonalds lunch box.
I think we had about 2000...
...when we got kind of bored of the Dream Machine.
And then the Dream Machine closed.
And we had all these tickets.
Wrapped in rubber bands.
In an old lunch box.
Which is now sitting in our attic.
In a bin.
Which also contains...
All of Andrew's rubber snakes, candy cigarettes, spider rings, temporary tattoos, and finger traps.
So, yeah, I want a skee ball machine, too.
